Presentation

Every year the Department, the School of Science and the University organise events to present their educational programme.

For students in their final years of high school, the Department of Mathematics and Applications promotes the Spring in Bicocca and Summer School initiatives aimed at presenting the Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, experiencing university life in the Department, and introducing students to the context of higher education and its value in society through lessons and seminars.

The Department also promotes Open Day dedicated to the Master's Degree in Mathematics for students planning to continue their education.

Other Initiatives

The Degree Course offers a self-assessment and preparation course named "Studying Mathematics", to be carried out independently with the possible support of high school mathematics teachers and some lecturers on the Bachelor's Degree Programme.

In addition, to help fill any gaps after enrolment, the School of Science organises a number of teaching support activities each year specifically dedicated to basic mathematics for incoming students on science Bachelor's Degree Programme.
