A Research and Third Mission Quality Assurance Group is established in the Department. The Group is composed of four lecturers of the Department. The Group currently is composed of:

Prof. Lourenco Beirao Da Veiga

The Group is assigned the task of supervising and promoting quality policy at Department level, identifying the necessary corrective actions and checking their implementation.

The Group:

• prepares the SUA-RD form annually
• assists the Director in the preparation of the Three-year Departmental Plan Document;
• constantly monitors the trend of scientific productivity and the impact of the research activities of the disciplinary areas active in the Department, also through the elaboration and calculation of ad hoc bibliometric parameters.
