Educational Offer
In addition to research activities aimed at completing the thesis, the Board of Professors of the PhD programme gives great importance to expanding and consolidating the cultural bases of doctoral and post-doctoral students, in order to foster their scientific autonomy and stimulate their originality.
For this aim, a wide range of teaching activities is organised each year, both basic and advanced, as well as seminar activities and working groups.
A considerable part of this offer is included in the inter-doctoral activities, in collaboration with the PhD programmes in Mathematics at Pavia, the University of Milan and the Politecnico.
An important aspect of inter-doctoral work is the interaction between PhD students of various locations.
