Established in 2019 by the National Conference of Presidents and Directors of University Facilities of Science and Technology, the con.Scienze Prize identifies and rewards the best scientific research performed during a master's degree or PhD in scientific disciplines. The award was created to honor young students for their contributions to scientific research during their thesis and later PhD studies, encouraging them to focus on research-oriented careers.
On July 10, 2025, Susanna Bartolini received the award for the best master's thesis con.Science 2024 Edition.
In her interview with Bnews, she explains how the idea for her thesis was born, what were the most challenging and the most exciting moments of her research work, and how her academic experience, which she also conducted at our Department, helped her to grow and build her thesis.
