Linear reciprocal transformation of bihamiltonian integrable hierarchies

Monday 24 November 2025, at 2 pm in Room U6-40 (U6 Building, 1st Floor), Zhe Wang (RIKEN Center for  Interdisciplinary Theoretical and Mathematical Sciences) will hold the following talk

Title: Linear reciprocal transformation of bihamiltonian integrable hierarchies

Abstract: Classification of integrable hierarchies under various transformations are important topics in mathematical physics, and reciprocal transformations are natural changes of independent variables of hierarchies. In the talk, we will explain that a linear reciprocal transformation will preserve the biahamiltonian property, and then we give a complete classfication of semisimple bihamiltonian integrable hierarchies up to linear reciprocal transformations. We will also explain the theory of super extended bihamiltonian integrable hierarchies and variational bihamiltonian cohomology, which are key tools in this study. The talk is based on a joint work with Si-Qi Liu and Youjin Zhang.
