The Giuseppina Mai Foundation, with the support of its partners (Assolombarda-Associazione STEAMiamoci, Chiesi Farmaceutici, Confindustria, Farmindustria, Fastweb + Vodafone, Federchimica, Fondazione Bracco, Space Work, Streparava), is launching the fourth edition of the “Women in STEM” call for applications.
The initiative is aimed at female students enrolled in the first year of a master’s degree programme in STEM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) for the academic year 2026/2027.
The project was launched to bridge the gender gap in sectors that are strategic for the Country's development and innovation where, although the overall rate of university enrolment among women is high, the number of women remains limited compared to the strong demand for specialist skills.
For this edition, the call for applications offers 13 scholarships, each worth 3.000 euros, awarded to the most deserving female students.
