NEMESIS (NEw generation MEthods for numerical SImulationS)
Prof. Lourenco Beirao da Veiga, lecturer of Numerical Analysis at the Department of Mathematics and Applications, has been interviewed by Bnews about the NEMESIS Project (NEw generation MEthods for numerical SImulationS).
NEMESIS is an International Research Project funded by the European Research Council with the aim of developing new numerical methods applicable in the field of environmental sustainability, proposing innovative solutions to problems concerning CO2 storage and the extraction of aluminium from bauxite.
In this interview, the Professor explains the aim of the Project, the practical applications of the methods developed and the future prospects of NEMESIS.
