Titolo: Quasimodular Relations and Gromov-Witten Theory of Elliptic Curves
Abstract: Building on the work of Oberdieck and Pixton on quasimodular forms and holomorphic anomaly equations in cohomological field theories, we develop a refined approach to the quasimodular structure of Gromov-Witten classes of elliptic curves. Specifically, we present explicit cyclic expressions for these classes when paired with Hodge classes, revealing new tautological relations on the moduli space of curves. As an application, we provide a new proof of Faber’s socle intersection formula. We further explore potential generalizations to quadratic Hodge integrals, and discuss additional implications, including the construction of a dispersive quantum hierarchy associated with the Gromov-Witten theory of elliptic curves. We conclude by outlining a path towards an explicit formulation of the Dubrovin–Zhang hierarchy in this setting.
