Welcome
My work is in applied mathematics and mathematical physics of complex systems (see Research Interests).
Current research is focused on applications of geometric and topological methods to study morphological aspects of vortex flows, magnetic fields, filament tangles and their relations to dynamical properties of such systems (see Current Projects). The aim is to explore and establish new possible relations between energy, complexity and function.
Scientific research and international collaborations are promoted through the active organization of advanced schools and meetings and long-term intensive programmes in world-class research centres (see Scientific Events and Activities). Scientific results are regularly published in primary journals in the field (see Publications).
